Trip to Crater Lake

We took a long weekend and made the trip to Crater Lake! Audrey was excited to use her new Fourth Grade National Parks Pass and it was so nice to get away and enjoy some family time. The first day were were there it was in the 70s and beautiful, the next day it rained, and the third day it snowed! It was an amazing trip with lots of memories made.

Ready to hit the road

Asleep before we left Sherwood

Excited to go fishing! She even checked a book out of the library!

First day at Crater Lake! A little smokey from the fires but still really beautiful

We decided to hike the one trail at the lakes that gives you access to the water. Going down was great, getting back up with all three girls was a little more challenging.

This little guy wanted our snacks!

Trying to get our snacks again!

DONE hiking!

After lunch and some rest we decided to try fishing at a near by lake. We didn't catch anything but the girls had a great time!

When you're not so into fishing...

Jiffy-Pop (followed by Cards Agains Humanity Family Edition)

Tula Jane is a bit spoiled

Saturday morning class for Mommy. I joined from the truck so Justin and the girls could hang out in the trailer.

After my class, Hadley and I took a nap while Justin and girls went for a hike in the rain

They got a little wet...

One more fishing trip after everyone was dry and rested. Still no luck, but the girls are getting better at casting.

Audrey and Lilly made us dinner!

When it's raining and there's a fire ban, you make S'mores in the trailer!

NOT happy about only having two S'mores

Headed back to Crater Lake to see the snow!

Tula is harnessed in, but managed to still get as close to the girls as possible

We found the snow!

The snow didn't stick around long, and the skies cleared so we could check out some beautiful views of the lake

VERY tired girl...

Finally asleep with her new treasures from the gift shop

After lunch and nap, we went back to the same trail Justin and girls hiked in the rain the day before

Smelling the cedar tree

Sliding down the giant boulders

Hadley Mae loves to take pictures!

Audrey wanted to bring this branch home...we said no. lol

Wishful thinking Tula Jane

One last dinner in the trailer before heading home!
