One Year- 49 Weeks

Hadley Mae has been into everything this week! She has figured out how to open the pantry door and has been helping herself to treats every time we turn our backs. We also had our first call to poison control last night when Hadley learned to take the childproof caps off the medicine containers and proceeded to eat three full doses of children's laxatives. Today resulted in three changes of clothes and lots of diapers, but other than that she's is doing just fine. Hadley is really into building with blocks right now and has actually built some pretty great towers all on her own. She still loves to watch Frozen 2 several times a day, but we've also talked her into watching Moana and now she'll ask for that at least once. It's hard to believe this little love will be two in just a few weeks! We sure love this her and couldn't imagine our lives without her.

One Year- 48 Weeks

This sweet little love has had a pretty fun week. She loved watching the school parade for Audrey and Lilly's school, and also had fun riding in the school parade for my school the next day. She's enjoyed lots of walks this week and especially likes to "call" the ducks and geese any time she sees water. Hadley hates to hold hands when we cross the street but other than that she loves all parts of being outside. She has learned to say the word "freckle," however when she says it, it sounds more like a bad word than "freckle." 😳 She loved eating ribs for the first time this week and is also really enjoying the ice-cream cones we bought for desserts this week.

Staff Parades

The girls loved watching their school's staff parade yesterday and also had a great time riding in my school parade today. Such beautiful weather both days, and lots of smiles seeing teachers and students. Just what our hearts needed this week!

One Year- 47 Weeks

This little lady had a pretty busy week! She loved dying Easter eggs and actually did a pretty good job. She loved hunting for eggs too and especially enjoyed all of the chocolate she was able to eat after finding each one. Her other bottom molar started popping through this week and it seems she is also working on a top molar as well. This mama will be extra happy when all her teeth are in and we can get back to our full nights of sleep. We brought out the sprinkler this week, but Hadley wasn't too sure about that. She tried it a bit but overall, wasn't really a fan of getting wet. She much prefers to sit on Mommy's lap and watch. Hadley is getting really good at counting and singing her ABCs. She also loves taking bubble baths with her sisters and especially likes it when they fill the tub "really full."

"Tulip Festival"

I am SO sad that the Tulip Festival is closed this year (Justin and the girls are not as sad) but they all still humored me and took a few pictures in front of some tulips we saw on our walk today. Not quite the same, but it will have to do for this year!
