Finishing Up February

40 Weeks Old

Hadley Mae has officially been "out" longer than she was "in" and we are still just as in love with her as the day we found out she was on the way! Hadley has started to officially furniture walk this week and she is now into everything in the house. She can reach the counters in the bathrooms which adds another element of "fun" to our bedtime routine and she also loves to explore in the china cupboard. We haven't found any foods that Hadley won't eat, although she has officially stopped taking a bottle. Her sweet little temper is starting to show up more often and just this week she figured out how to shake her head No! We may be in trouble with this little friend in the future. We love her bunches though, and are so very thankful for our healthy, happy little girl.

Nine Months Old

This little love in 9 months old today! She's growing up so fast and we could not be more in love with that sweet smile. Miss Hadley has started to show a bit of a temper these last few weeks and she gets very upset when she doesn't get her way. She loves to eat all kinds of finger and baby food, but it appears she's thinking about giving up her bottle. We are working on a sippy cup, but so far she doesn't want anything to do with that. Hadley is starting to wave and is getting close to taking a few steps while holding onto things. She is also close to getting her sixth tooth! Hadley wears size 12 month clothes, is 22 lbs. (94 percentile), and is 29.5 inches tall (97th percentile). She "talks" all the time and absolutely loves her big sisters, unless they are trying to carry her around when she wants to play. It's hard to believe she will be one in just a few short months. We have loved every minute of having her in our family and we look forward to all that is in store for us in the future! 

39 Weeks Old

Sweet Hadley is growing up way too fast! This week she started to wave and has figured out how to make all kinds of new noises using her spit. =) Hadley still doesn't care to drink a bottle at daycare, but she is eating all kinds of other foods and especially enjoys having yogurt for breakfast each day. She can stand for a few minutes without holding on to anything and has even taken a few steps while holding on the the couch. She still wakes up a few times every night but this mama knows she will be our last baby so I'm making the most of it! Hadley loves all electronic devices and remotes and gets VERY mad when she can't play with them. She had a fun first Valentine's Day and also enjoyed a play date with Auntie Debbie, Uncle Jerry, Ben and Kayla on Saturday so Mommy and Daddy could go out for dessert.
