New Camera

We got a new camera this week and the girls have been enjoying "modeling" for Daddy's photo shoots. 😂

Christmas Shoe Boxes

We joined more than 75 other kids in Sherwood tonight to help fill Christmas shoe boxes with gifts for children overseas. Together, this group filled 402 boxes in just under two hours! A big thank you to the Feenstra family for planning, organizing, and hosting this event. We had such a great time and it was a huge blessing for our family to be able to join in helping others. 

Lilly-Mommy Day

I took a vacation day yesterday and pulled Lilly out of school so we could spend the whole day together just the two of us (Audrey gets a day next month)! Lilly planned the whole day and we took coffees to her school, enjoyed IHOP for breakfast, shopping at the Dollar Tree, pedicures, and ended the day with Big Als arcade and Menchies frozen yogurt. It was so great to spend some time loving on my girl. She was smiling the entire day and I loved every minute of it! ❤️

One Year- 25 Weeks

Miss Hadley has decided this week that she likes to use the potty like a big girl! She has gone most mornings before school and has even gone once at Teacher Carol's. I'm not sure I have the energy right now to invest into potty training, but we take her when she asks and encourage her as much as we can. Guess we'll see how it goes. Hadley's last cuspid tooth is close to popping through and we are excited that she will soon just have her two year molars left to come in! Daddy has been putting Hadley to bed the last few nights and it's going better every night. She gave up nursing a month ago and now drinks a ton of milk from her sip each day. She's been waking up once at night, but we are hopeful that once her tooth is in she'll be back to sleeping all night. 

One Year- 24 Weeks

It's hard to believe that this little love will be 18 months old in just a few weeks! She is growing up so fast and is more and more fun every single day. Hadley is saying new words daily, but her newest ones are "Lilly," "Carol," and "Why?" She has been a bit of a stinker at school this week and is working on being kinder to her friends. She still loves to read books, sing songs, and play with all her big sisters' toys. Hadley is also getting really good a climbing up into her booster seat at the table and buckling herself in. She is happiest just sitting there watching everyone and will often stay there for more than an hour each night.
