Children's Museum

Audrey was tired of being home by Monday of our three-day weekend so we decided to get out of the house for a visit to the Children's Museum. Justin's parents and grandma bought us a family membership for Christmas and we had a great time taking Audrey for her first of many visits this year.

One Year- 7 Weeks

Little Miss is still growing like a weed. She is eating a lot lately and sleeping good at night so I am sure she is going through another growth spurt. Audrey has been talking up a storm this week as well. She has lots to say and is always trying to tell us something. She can now sing/say "So you had a bad day" when she hears one of us sing it first. She is also getting very good at saying "thank-you" although not always at the correct time. :) When she is hungry she will go to the kitchen and shout "cracker" until one of us gets up and gets her something to eat. Audrey is having a great time playing with all her new Christmas toys and I am pretty sure she has figured out how they all work.

Myers Family Dress

My Great Grandma made this dress for my Mom's first birthday photos. My mom then had our pictures taken in it and my cousin took her girl's photos in it as well. Now it was Audrey's turn. :)

Myers Family Christmas

We had the Myers Family Thanksgiving/Christmas today. Audrey slept while we drove to Eugene and then had a blast playing with all her cousins.

Trying on Daddy's shoes before we got ready to leave :)

Giving "high-fives" to Great Grandpa

Audrey's new toy from Hallie and Grace

Didn't take long for her to figure it out :)

Hats that my Aunt Sue made for all the kids
(she made leg warmers for Audrey to match her birthday sweater because she knows that she doesn't like to wear hats very much)

Hallie wearing her new hat

I'm bummed about the sun reflection spot at the top, but still a cute photo of Kirsten and Gracie

(Emily and I have seen that look from our Mom a time or two) :)

One Year- 6 Weeks

Our little muffin is still growing like a weed. She is changing so much and as much work as it is to take her picture each week, I really enjoy going back and looking at all her "bear" photos. Audrey was so excited to be back at school today. She was shouting "HI" to all her friends as we walked in the door this morning. She is getting good at signing "eat" and she loves to try to put on her own shoes (and Mommy's too). It seems as though she is working on another tooth! Only four more and then hopefully we will be done for a while. :) Audrey learned to say "touchdown" this week and can even put her hands in the air just like Daddy when she says it. She is also getting good at climbing on EVERYTHING. She can get on the coffee table, chairs and the recliner all by herself now, and she even has the bruises to prove it. We sure do love watching our little girl learn new things every day and I know it goes without saying, but we can't imagine our lives without her.

Beach and Aquarium Visit

We spent Christmas break at the beach house in Lincoln City again this year. It rained almost the whole time we were there, but we did manage to get one quick beach trip in as well as a trip to the Newport Aquarium. It was so nice to relax and spend some time with our family.

Audrey loved all the sea creatures at the Aquarium and despite the rain and cold weather, we had a great day.

Watching the sea otters. They were Audrey's favorite. She kept shouting "dog" every time they swam by.

She found a fish!

And another one!
