Five Years- 6 Months

There is no way this girl can be 5 1/2 already! She has grown so much this year and I think it's safe to say we now have a "big girl." Audrey lost two teeth last month, is almost finished with Pre-K, and is reading and writing up a storm. She is wearing some size 7 clothes already and is one of the tallest in her class. Audrey loves to draw and create things and she has been writing "books" every day at school. She is an amazing swimmer and can swim the length of most any pool all on her own. She is kind and caring and is such a fun girl to be around. We love her to the moon and back and could not be more proud of her.

AWANA Cubbies Awards

Audrey had her AWANA Cubbies award program last night. She was so excited to have both sets of grandparents their and she did a great job singing her songs and saying her verses. Audrey earned her book award for memorizing over 30 verses (with references) and she also earned the perfect attendance award. We are so very proud of her!!

Mabel's Half Birthday

My sister was here this weekend with her girls so we decided to have a little 1/2 birthday celebration for Miss Mabel. My friend Heidi made the cutest cake and we had lots of fun sharing lunch and visiting with family. I can't believe this sweet girl will be 6 months old tomorrow. Time goes by way too fast.

Mabel's name blanket that my mom made for her. My grandma started this tradition with each of her grandchildren (and even lots of great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews) and now my mom has taken over where she left off. Makes my heart happy to have a little piece of my Grandma living on for our girls.

Three Years- 2 Months

Okay, time can slow down now. There is no way our baby is this big. Miss Lilly is quite the firecracker right now but we are so very thankful for her. She loves to color and draw and she carries her "Bible books" everywhere she goes. Lilly still loves to play anything with a ball and she is especially loving being outside in this sunny weather. Her favorite movie right now is the Peanuts Movie and she loves to read any kind of "I Spy" book. We still sing "Wheels on the Bus" every night before bed and we enjoying hearing Lilly talk in her sleep over the monitor at night. ;) Our baby isn't really a baby anymore but we are so thankful for her fun, kind nature and we are excited to see all that she will accomplish in her future. 

Mother's Day 2016

I'm beyond blessed to be the mother of these two amazing girls. They make me smile every single day and have shown me a love I never knew before motherhood. Thankful for a fun day with my babes today. 

Mother's Day Weekend

We spent the first part of our Mother's Day weekend in Tillamook. The girls helped Grandma plant her garden, swam in the hot tub, road the four-wheeler, and Audrey even got to shoot the BB gun for the first time. It was a fun and relaxing weekend and just what we needed. 

Pre-K Conferences

Audrey had her student-led conference today. She showed us all around the room and did an awesome job on all her activities. We are so proud of her and can't wait to see what she accomplishes in Kindergarten next year. 

Audrey's Missing Teeth

Audrey lost her first tooth on April 20th and another one on the 29th! All she wanted from the tooth fairy was a stuffed unicorn and a panda purse. We have one happy girl.
