Two Years- 10 Months

Miss Lilly is not a baby any more and is acting more and more like a big girl every day. She had a wonderful Christmas and especially enjoyed being home with Mommy every day and seeing all her cousins. We spent a week at the beach house and Lilly had a great time playing in the sand and collecting rocks. She loves bath time and is excited to start swim lessons again in a few weeks. Lilly is getting very good at saying her prayers and has already started learning some AWANA Cubbies verses even though she doesn't start until the fall. She still loves to read books and sing Wheels On The Bus every night before bed. Lilly has been caught saying "damn it" a few times over the break and Mommy is working on being a better example with that. ;)  We could not be more proud of how caring and helpful Lilly is and we love her more than she will ever know. 

Winter Dance Performances

Both girls had a winter dance program this year. Lilly's class had a little winter recital a few weekends ago. She was a bit shy at first, but later warmed up to the whole idea of being the center of attention. 

The following weekend Audrey was a Chinese Dancer in her dance school's Nutcracker performance. She had some very long rehearsals and show days but overall she had fun and did a wonderful job. 

Both girls have decided they need a little break from dance so starting in February we will begin swim lessons again. Sad about missing out on cute costume pics this spring, but I'm very excited for the girls to learn to swim better!

Other December Fun

Audrey had a great time at her school Christmas party. They decorated ice-cream cones to look like Christmas trees and of course Audrey the perfectionist was the last one done. :)  

We finished our break with dental appointments and a snow day. The girls did great at the dentist (no cavities) and they really enjoyed playing in the snow!!

Week At the Beach

It was so nice to spend some time at the beach house after Christmas. The girls really enjoyed playing on the beach and it was fun to have Hallie there for a few days too. Grandma Liz and Papa Doug joined us later in the week and my family came down for New Year's Eve. It was a week full of fun memories and lots of laughter.
