Happy Birthday!

Gymnastic Class

The girls are loving gymnastic classes. Here are a few videos from our last few visits.

Four Years- 8 Months

Miss Audrey is having such a great summer. She is loving swim lessons and gymnastics class and she's had lots of play dates with friends. Audrey has been bugging me to teach her to read this summer so we have started some simple reading lessons this month and she's doing quite well. We are pretty sure Audrey is growing again as she is eating all the time and tripping over her own feet at least once a day. She is almost ready to bump up to size 6 clothes! Audrey is always busy coloring or working on puzzles. She is also getting really good at her Math Seeds app and is learning lots of new math skills. 

Swim Lessons

The girls have been enjoying a second round of swim lessons the last two weeks. Audrey has enjoyed having her friend Emma in her class and Lilly is doing really well in the "big kid" class. :) Audrey has made so much progress and is now able to swim all the way to rope without too much help. Even Lilly is getting good at jumping in and putting her head under the water. Overall, it's been a very successful set of lessons. 

Myers Family Campout

We had a great time at the Myers Family Campout this past weekend. The weather was quite warm but we still enjoyed playing with cousins, taking the boat out on the lake, swimming and lots of family time. It was so great to see everyone we don't get to see very often and the girls had a blast playing with all the older kids. We didn't get a chance to take many pictures but here are a few from our fun weekend in Lincoln City.

Two Years- 4 Months

Our Lilly Bug is growing up way too fast! Her last molar is popping through and we are almost completely done with teething (well at least until the 6-year molars come in). Lilly has also been completely diaper free (day and night) since mid-June without any accidents! Mommy even sold the rest of her extra diapers on-line last month. Lilly's summer has been busy with gymnastic classes and swim lessons and she is loving every minute of them. She is also getting pretty good at drawing pictures and she always likes to show us her "dance moves." She is a super good eater, loves her naps, and is still obsessed with rubbing Mommy's ears anytime she can. Mommy's favorite words Lilly says right now are: A-Randa (for Miranda), Bi-hind me (for behind me) and Air-eos (for Oreos).

Fourth of July

We spent 4th of July at the beach. We enjoyed some time at the beach house and the weather was perfect. The girls enjoyed the fire, walking to the beach, sparklers, and making S'mores cones. We also spent some time at Grandma Lynne and Papa Randy's on our way home and the girls loved running through the corn fields. It was a great weekend full of many wonderful memories.
