One year- 14 weeks

Audrey Anne is 15 months old and getting bigger by the minute. We are still waiting for that last tooth, but she has been happy for the past few weeks so we are fine if it takes it's time getting here. I think I can say that Audrey is constantly sleeping through the night (knock on wood) as I haven't had to get up with her at night in almost a month! :) Audrey LOVES to eat and is especially enjoying using forks and spoons. She has also been very busy reading books lately and Teacher Carol even said she sat in her big chair at school and "read" books for a half hour today. Audrey always has something to say and is getting very good at telling us what she wants or needs. She especially loves to shout potty and then run to the bathroom door, she has even had some "poo-poops" and "pee-pees" in the potty this week! :) She is also officially off the bottle and now only drinks from her sippy cups. Her 15 month check-up is tomorrow and we are looking forward to seeing how much she has grown since November.

One year- 13 weeks

Miss Audrey is getting to be such a big girl. She loves to do things all by her self, especially when it's time to eat messy foods like yogurt or applesauce. :) She is getting much better about leaving her "pretties" in her hair and she will even sit still for a few minutes while mommy does her hair. Audrey made the switch from bottles to her sippy cup this week (she was down to only two bottles a day anyway) and she seems to be just fine with that. She also visited the dentist for the first time and did really well with that (we planned to take a picture but got so busy watching Audrey we both forgot). She is also saying all kinds of new words lately. Some of her newer words include: cheese, up, teacher, honk, please, pretties, book, Drew and Emma (both are friends from school).

One Year- 12 Weeks

Our little princess is another week older today. Audrey is talking up a storm this week and she is getting pretty good at counting to three. She will also moo like a cow when you ask her what a cow says. She enjoyed a few days at the farm last weekend and especially liked going in Grandma and Grandpa's hot tub for the first time! Audrey was very excited to get a new potty seat for Valentine's Day and she has especially been enjoying a little time in her "big girl panties" each night. No actually potties in the potty yet, but we'll keep working on that. Audrey has been quite the stinker this week at school and has spent lots of time in her time-out chair for throwing toys and pulling hair, hopefully next week will be better.

Audrey's Valentine's Day present...a new potty seat! She was very excited to sit on the potty. No real potty (probably a little early for that) but she does shout "potty" and run to the bathroom at least a few times a night just to "sit." Now she will at least be a little more comfortable. :)

One year- 11 weeks

Audrey is growing up so fast. She has definitely shown us her temper this week, complete with tantrums, leg kicking, and screaming. She is working on getting her very last tooth (until her 2-year molars) and she hasn't been eating much lately. Hopefully it will come in soon so we can be done teething for a while. Audrey is still talking up a storm and she has even been saying "mama" and "mom" this week. :)

Weekend Zoo Trips

We bought Audrey a zoo membership and thought we would make the most of it with two visits this weekend! It was so beautiful and sunny that we couldn't pass up the chance to walk around outside and see some animals. Our friends Amy and Brodie joined us with their twins on Saturday and Justin's parents joined us this afternoon. We had a great time and were able to see lots of animals and enjoy some sunshine too.

One Year- 10 Weeks

When did our little baby turn into such a big girl? She can go up and down our stairs all on her own and she has even figured out how to climb onto the kitchen table. Just tonight, she crawled up into her highchair all by herself. Audrey is enjoying saying "yuck-os" lately, especially when you are changing her diaper. :) She is getting very good at saying "up" although she often uses it for anytime she doesn't want to do something. She had a great time at Disneyland this past weekend despite the fact that she is teething. We are hoping those last two teeth come in soon so that she can start feeling better. Audrey has been being a little nicer to her friends at school this week, maybe because she hasn't been feeling super great. :)
