44 Weeks Old

Another Tuesday, another photo. Miss Audrey is turning into such a fun little person. She is very independent and determined, both traits that may prove hard to parent, but we love her just the same. :) She is getting very good at standing and has even tried to take a step or two on her own before sitting down and crawling. She is still talking up a storm and is trying all kinds of new words every day. We are working on wearing our socks and shoes again, now that it's getting colder outside, but we still aren't having much luck with that. :)

Picnic at the Park

Justin's work group had a picnic at Sellwood Park this afternoon. The weather was perfect and Audrey had a great time playing in the dirt and eating lots of food.

Ten Months Old

We cannot even believe that Miss Audrey is 10 months old! She is such a big girl now. Audrey is trying so hard to walk and she pushes around anything with wheels. :) She loves to eat, talk and watch other kids play. She is always on the go and she really enjoys chasing the dogs. She is sleeping good at night and has given up her morning nap. Audrey is loving school and she is always happy playing with her friends when we pick her up.

We are so thankful to have such a healthy, happy baby. God has truly blessed us.

43 Weeks Old

How can Audrey already be 43 weeks old? She is such a big girl. She is very close to standing without any help. She will let go now and stand for a bit on her own before sitting down. She has another new tooth and one more very close to breaking through. She has also slept for 8 hours the last two nights! Audrey is still talking up a storm. She always has lots to say. She loves to go to the playroom at church and we always get reports back about how much she loves to jump in their Jumperoo. She also loves eating out in restaurants and especially enjoys it when Mommy and Daddy share a few bites of their desserts. She is a happy, healthy baby and we could not be more thankful for our special gift from God.

Mommy's Birthday!

We had a great weekend celebrating my birthday! We ate out with all our family and did some shopping at the mall. Audrey and Justin brought me flowers to school on Friday and then got me a family picture session for November. I am so excited to get some cute pictures for Audrey's first birthday and Christmas! I was totally spoiled by all my family and friends. A big thank you to everyone that made my day so special. I love you all.

42 Weeks Old

Time is just flying by. I can't believe that Audrey will be 10 months old next week. She is such a big girl. :) She is still "talking" all the time. She says "dog" and "Uh-oh" and also says "Dada" and "Moma." We are trying to work on "kitty" but for now, all the cats are dogs. She loves eating "big kid lunch" with the kids at daycare and you can even see her four big top teeth in this week's photo. She trying to stand on her own and I am thinking she will be walking in a few weeks. Audrey has a new grin. Every time she smiles now she scrunches up those cute cheeks into a big cheesy grin!

41 Weeks Old

Our little muffin is 41 weeks old today. We still can't believe how fast she is growing up. She had her nine month check up this last week and she weighs 20 lbs 11 oz and is 28 1/2 inches tall. She also had her first ear infection this week :( and has been on antibiotics for 5 days now. She still isn't feeling super great so we are going to try to see if we can get her an appointment to get her ears re-checked this week. Other than that, she has been our normal happy girl. She has adjusted well to being back on our school schedule and is enjoying being with her friends during the day. She is still eating all kinds of new foods and is starting to get tired of the "baby food" and now she really only wants to eat the "grown up food." Audrey "talks" all day long and has officially said her first word, "DOG!" She loves to say "dog" anytime she sees Regan or Daisy and she even said "dog" to the Hannah, teacher Carol's dog at school. She also calls all the cats "dog" too, but we are starting to work on the word "kitty." :)

College Game Day

Justin has been very excited for the first college game day. Audrey was sporting her OSU outfit this afternoon to help cheer on the Beavers and then changed to her U of O outfit for Daddy so we could all attend a Duck's party at a friends house. We were bummed that both teams didn't do better, but we're hoping things go better next weekend.
