31 Weeks Old

It has been 31 weeks since our little princess decided to grace us with her presence. We can honestly say that every day since then has been a blessing. What a joy Miss Audrey is to have around. She is still giggling a little. We have to work VERY hard to find something funny enough to even merit a little chuckle be we are working on it. She is SO close to crawling but would rather just scoot around on her bum still. She also works hard to pull herself up on all kinds of things. Audrey is "talking" up a storm and eating all kinds of foods. There really hasn't been anything she hasn't liked yet. :)

Tillamook June Dairy Parade

We went to Tillamook for the June Dairy Parade this weekend. Audrey LOVED the parade and really enjoyed watching all the people. It was perfect weather for a parade and we all had a great time.

Seven Months Old

It is hard to believe that it has already been seven months since Miss Audrey joined our family. It feels like it was just yesterday. We are more in love every day and are doing our best to cherish each moment, as they seem to go by quickly these days. Audrey is growing into such a fun little person. She has a great smile and is so curious about everything around her. Just last night Audrey figured out how to pull herself up using the side of her bassinet. I have a feeling we aren't going to make it through the whole summer without taking some steps. :) She still hasn't crawled in the traditional sense, but she does scoot all over the place on her bum. Today was Audrey's last day of "school" until the fall. It was a bitter sweet day because I am excited to be back home with her, but I also know how much she loves her new friends and her Teacher Carol. We are going to have to go back for lots of visits during the summer so we don't get board at home with Mommy. :)

30 Weeks Old

Stop the bus...we got our first giggle this week! We had to work VERY hard to make her giggle and it wasn't for very long, but I will count it. :) Here's hopping we can get a few more to I can post a video. Miss Audrey is so close to crawling. She scoots all over the place on her bum and will try to crawl on her hands and one leg. She is "talking" up a storm and her hair is really starting to grow. I even have to tuck a little strand behind her ears now. :) We found out she had fluid in both her ears last week, but her fever never came back and she is feeling much better now!

Father's Day

We had a fun day today. Audrey gave Daddy a new sand wedge and some new golf clothes. We had fun at the driving range tonight, but I can't wait until we can all actually go golfing together.

Audrey is so lucky to have the best dad in the world. He is so great with her and she always lights up when he comes home from work each day.

29 Weeks Old

Miss Audrey is 29 weeks old today. She has been sick most of the week and not sleeping too well, but we are hoping she will feel better soon. She still manages to muster up a few smiles for Mommy and Daddy though, despite her cough, runny nose and low grade temp. She is still trying hard to figure out the crawling thing and is getting closer to putting it all together. Her hair is growing faster too and it looks like Mommy might need to start putting a little gel in that hair-do. No giggles yet...maybe by her 7 month birthday. :)

28 Weeks Old

The princess is 28 weeks old today! She is such a little grown up now. :) She is sitting up really well and even scooting around on her bottom to reach things while she sits. She also loves to say "ma-ma-ma" and "da-da-da." She is eating all kinds of baby foods and trying to pull herself up on things. We are so in trouble when this little one finally figures out how to get around on her own. I am sure your are shocked to know that there are still no giggles. :) Maybe next week...

Weekend In Tillamook

We had a very busy weekend in Tillamook. The weather was beautiful and we had a ton of fun spending time outside with family and friends.

We started the weekend by going to Fran's high school graduation.

First Trip To The Zoo

Audrey was lucky enough to join Mom at the zoo for her class field trip today. Daddy had the day off and he and Audrey stopped by to say hello while Mom was there with her third graders. We had a great day! It was warm and sunny and we got to see a lot of animals.
